Do a lot of shops close during the Chuseok holiday?
Chuseok is a pretty long break and seems like a special time in Korea. Even my regular café is taking Oct 5–7 off—do many places close then? If so, when do they usually close?

Yep, Chuseok is one of the big holidays in Korea. We’ve basically got two big ones: Seollal and Chuseok. They mean a lot to Koreans. Most people spend the time with family, so shops are pretty quiet and a lot of owners head out to visit relatives who live far away.
