Is TOPIK important?
Hey! I'm looking into the working holiday in Korea and doing some research right now. I'm not planning to jump into a full-time job right away.. probably gonna start with part-time work first. In that case, is TOPIK still important? I haven't taken it, but I can hold a decent conversation in Korean already.

Getting married soon! Is it easier to work in Korea on an F6 visa?
Hi, I'm an American currently living in Korea and I'm dating a Korean guy. We’re probably getting married within the next year👰🏼 I heard that once we're married, I can apply for the F-6 spouse visa. Right now, I’m about to graduate from university, so I’m trying to decide whether I should apply for the D-10 visa and look for a job, or just wait and get the F-6 visa after we’re married and then start working. From what I’ve heard, the E-7 visa is pretty tough to get, especially right after graduating. Does anyone know if it’s easier to find a job on an F-6 visa? Would love to hear your thoughts or any experiences!

Qualifications for waitress/barista
Hello everyone, I'm going to korea next year, probably with a H-1 visa I'm actually a waitress in switzerland in a bar/café/restaurant and have experience in that field. I'll start a barista international certification soon. I speak French as a mother language, english as my second language, i also speak german and a very little bit of spanish and I'm learning korean. I'm looking for a job in that field (waitress or barista) What qualifications do I need ? What level of korean do I need to speak ? do I need to take an official test (like TOPIK) ? Any recommendations, things I need to know ?

Can I move to Korea and find a job without a visa or Korean language skills?
Hey everyone! I'm Ukrainian and currently living in Barcelona. Lately, I’ve been thinking about moving to Korea to work, but I’m a bit lost on how to even start. Right now I don’t have a visa, and I’m not really sure what the process looks like. Do I need to find a company first that can sponsor my visa? Or is it better to just go to Korea and look for a job while I’m there? Also, how important is speaking Korean for getting hired? My Korean is super limited at the moment. For context, I’ve worked as a florist, office admin, and purchasing assistant before. I'm pretty open to different kinds of work. Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through something similar or knows what the first step should be. Any tips would be super appreciated 🙏
