Hello! This is Kowork 😀
As you may know, to obtain an E-7 visa, it's important to meet the E-7 salary requirement.
We want to inform you that starting from July, the E-7 salary criteria have been adjusted due to the increase in GNI.
Regarding GNI:
Previous GNI (until June 2024): 42,487,000 KRW
➡️
Revised GNI (July 2024 to March 2025): 44,051,000 KRW
The salary criteria for an E-7 visa aligned with the revised GNI standards are as follows:
To comply with the requirement of contracting at least 80% of the GNI, you need to have an annual salary contract of at least 35,240,800 KRW.
However, if applying under the categories of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Seoul metropolitan area (verified by the Small and Medium Enterprise Verification Certificate), venture companies (verified by the Venture Enterprise Certificate), or mid-sized enterprises outside the Seoul metropolitan area (verified by the Mid-sized Enterprise Verification Certificate), and if the foreigner has less than 3 years of domestic work experience,
A salary contract of at least 30,835,700 KRW is permissible with 70% of the GNI.
It has been confirmed that there has been an increase of approximately 100,000 KRW per month compared to the previous standards.
Employers and foreigners preparing for the E-7 visa are encouraged to be well aware of these details to ensure a smooth visa application process.
