C-3-9 Visa Application Timeline Concerns

Hi everyone, I’m from the Netherlands and planning a trip to Korea this September. I’ll need to apply for a C-3-9 tourist visa (valid for 90 days), but I’m a bit worried about the timing. On the embassy website it says the processing time can be around 3 weeks, and in peak season it might even stretch up to 8 weeks. The problem is that I already have another trip abroad at the end of July, and of course I’ll need my passport for that. Do you think it’s safe to apply for the Korean visa only after I return from that July trip? How long did it actually take for your C-3-9 visa to be processed? Is it closer to 2–3 weeks, or should I expect something longer? Also, is there any way to request an expedited process? Would really appreciate any advice or shared experiences on how to handle this situation. Thanks in advance!
