[Toss] Localization Assistant

Job Description

To support multiple languages, we review the language used within the Toss app (e.g., text and marketing messages) and suggest more natural localization options. We research online communities used by users in each target language and identify the characteristics of these communication channels. We conduct in-person user testing (UT) with target users, identify issues arising from linguistic and cultural contexts, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

I'm looking for someone from China/Vietnam/Russia. - We're looking for a bilingual candidate who speaks the native language of each country and can communicate fluently in English or Korean. - Please include your visa type on your resume (we need to confirm that it will not interfere with full-time employment).

Preferred

- Ideally, someone with an interest in the Toss business and willing to actively provide feedback. - Ideally, someone interested in not only language review and user research, but also in brainstorming marketing messages and concept ideas that can more effectively reach users in the target language. - Beyond simple translation work, someone with the attitude and potential to define problems from the local user's perspective and find solutions in various ways is even better. - Fluent communication skills are required to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and coordinate work processes.
