[Blue Garage] AI Artist / Character Rigger

Job Description

- Design and build character face & body rigging and skinning tailored to the project's direction - Rig structure R&D, setup, and optimization considering hair & cloth simulation - Planning and development of additional rigging features required for production (facial expression control, special pose rigs, etc.) - Collaborating with team animators and modelers to improve performance quality - Design and document rigging pipelines, outsourcing reviews, and providing guidance

Qualifications

- Practical experience in character rigging (including facial features) - Experience with character modularization - Understanding of the overall 3D character creation process and adept communication with collaborating departments - Initiative-minded and problem-solving enthusiasts - Experience with hair and cloth simulation integration rigging in Unreal Engine - Portfolio submission required (specifying scope of work and role)

Preferred

- Scripting skills such as MEL and Python - Experience with costume rigging and simulation using Marvelous Designer - Experience in game/animation production based on cartoon rendering - Experience in MMD, virtual idol, and 2D character projects - Experience in outsourcing rigging and pipeline construction - Experience in a lead position
