Job Description

[Establishing Sourcing Strategies for Battery Cell Materials and Raw Materials] - Analysis of battery cell material (cathode, anode, etc.) and raw material (precursor, lithium, nickel, etc.) markets and establishment of our company's purchasing strategy · Establishment of mid-to-long-term purchasing strategies focusing on supply chain stability and cost improvement, considering relevant legislation (IRA, CRMA, etc.) [Supplier Selection and New Supplier Development] - Sourcing strategy for battery cell materials (cathode, anode, etc.) and raw materials (precursor, lithium, nickel, etc.)/review and implementation of optimal supplier selection methods · Establishment of sourcing strategies/optimal supplier selection methods utilizing various bidding methods tailored to material characteristics and market conditions · Strengthening the operational structure through the discovery of new global battery cell materials (cathode, anode, etc.) and raw materials (precursor, lithium, nickel, etc.) [Determine Battery Cells Price and Securing Cost Competitiveness] - Establishment of cost competitiveness enhancement measures through battery cell price determination and specifications/cost analysis · Propose application plans through review of new technology/new process development and cost, quality level of manufacturing stages for battery cell materials (cathode, anode, etc.) and raw materials (precursor, lithium, nickel, etc.). [Supply Capacity Securing and Procurement Management] - Proactive management of internal and external risks related to battery cells, materials, and raw materials, and securing stable supply based on negotiation techniques ※ This is a contract position. Qualifications

- Foreign nationals who hold a bachelor's degree or above - 3+ years of experience in purchasing battery cells or battery cell materials (cathode, anode, etc.) / raw materials (precursors, lithium, nickel, etc.) are required. - Individuals who possess a valid visa status for work activities or have no disqualifications for obtaining one in the future - Those who are subject to military service obligations must have completed or been exempted from military service by December 31st, 2025, to be eligible for employment. ※ Duplicate applications are not allowed across postings for the 2025 Kia Global (Foreigner) Hiring. Preferred

- Experience in battery cell cost analysis. - Experience in establishing purchasing strategies, discovering partners, and managing supply chains for battery cell materials (cathode materials, anode materials, etc.) and raw materials (precursors, lithium, nickel, etc.). - Individuals with purchasing experience at battery companies, battery cell material companies (cathode, anode, etc.), or battery cell raw material companies (precursors, lithium, nickel, etc.). - Business-level fluency in English and Korean (both written and verbal) · TOPIK Level 4 or above, or an equivalent qualification - Possession of purchasing-related certifications such as CPSM and CSCP, and interpretation/translation certifications such as ITT and TCT.
