Job Description

1. Oversight of Ongoing Ghana Clean Cookstove Project • Supervise and provide strategic oversight for the ongoing Improved Clean Cookstove Distribution Project in Ghana, ensuring compliance with investor requirements, project scope & budget & timelines, and carbon market standards. • Oversee activities of local implementation team and partners, as well as monitor and evaluate project performance through data analysis, field reporting, and regular updates to investors and stakeholders. • Maintain partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and government agencies to ensure smooth implementation and community engagement. 2. Rwanda Clean Cookstove Project investment attraction support • Support the investor due diligence process and assist in investment attraction for the already developed Rwanda clean cooking project • Establish frameworks for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on project performance and impact. • Oversee project setup and implementation upon financial closure 3. Development of Emerging Carbon Offset Projects • Drive the conceptualization and preparation of new carbon projects. • Oversee feasibility studies, budgeting, and proposal preparation to secure funding and technical partnerships. • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects meet both carbon certification requirements, project bankability and impact goals. 4. Investor Relations and Fundraising • Support investor engagement and fundraising activities, preparing professional proposals, investment briefs, and presentations for assigned projects. • Assist in investor due diligence processes, ensuring timely response to invetors' technical, commercial, and legal due diligence questions. • Maintain regular communication with sponsors and financial partners, highlighting achievements, risks, and key project milestones. 5. Market Watch, Policy Orientation, and New Opportunities

Qualifications

•Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Environmental Science, or related field. • Proven experience (over 5 years) in developing and implementing projects. • Strong project management and analytical skills with demonstrated success in problem solving and navigating multi-stakeholder environments. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. • Capacity for innovation and adaptability in dynamic project environments. • Deep commitment to climate action and sustainable development. • Ability to travel and work across different time zones. • Strong ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to continuous learning.
