China MD (less than 10 years)

Job Description

- Develop and implement product operation strategies across major Chinese platforms (Tmall, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, etc.) - Establish and improve a full product lifecycle management system, encompassing product planning, store launch, pricing, and inventory management - Optimize sales structure and improve sales efficiency based on channel-specific performance analysis - Propose sales stories that combine products and content during brand campaign/promotion planning - Plan collaborations with Douyin/Xiaohongshu influencers (wanghongs) and manage content integration - Manage real-time communication and operational tasks with Chinese agencies and local staff - Propose new product and marketing strategies based on analysis of competing brands and market trends

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year program) or higher - Position: Manager or higher - Experience: 3 to 10 years - Language proficiency: Native Chinese speaker, business level - Chinese applicants (E7, F2, F4, F6 visa holders) must have an advanced level of Korean or higher - At least 3 years of experience operating Tmall, Douyin, or Xiaohongshu - Must not be disqualified from overseas travel, etc.

Preferred

- Experience in the health functional food industry - Certifications related to video editing/design tools or proficiency in creating social media content (images/short-form) - Extensive experience working with influencers (Wang Hong) - Experience working with TP&DP - Experience operating a Douyin reverse direct purchase mall and marketing on China's Xiaohongshu - Analytical thinking and logical flow based on data/indicators rather than intuition - Strong internal/external collaboration and communication skills - Goal-oriented work with a high sense of ownership
