Introducing Orange Square. Hello! This is Orange Square. Orange Square is a travel finance platform startup that operates "WOWPASS," an all-in-one prepaid card exclusively for foreign visitors to Korea. With a single WOWPASS, you can enjoy prepaid card payment, currency exchange, transportation, Dutch pay, online payments, a household account book, and mobile payment. Used by one in ten foreign tourists, it's a must-have item for them. With 2.1 million app subscribers, over 300 unmanned currency exchange kiosks, and 1.8 million cards issued, we're helping foreign tourists enjoy their travels. We're looking for an experienced K-POP commerce MD in Japan to join the Orange Square Commerce Business Team and experience rapid growth by developing new services alongside industry-leading colleagues. <This is what we do> • We promote and sell popular Korean prepaid/transportation cards and merchandise based on popular artists online to foreign tourists visiting Korea and the global K-pop fandom. • We plan and sell products targeting Japanese customers on the WOWPASS global e-commerce platform. • We run promotions for the official WOWPASS brand shops on online shopping malls (Qoo10, Shopee, Amazon). • We design thumbnails, product detail pages, and promotions. • We analyze customer needs through customer reviews and inquiries on online shopping mall platforms. • We manage inventory across platforms and communicate with logistics and packaging partners.

Qualifications

<We want to work with these types of people> • At least one year of relevant experience (experience with at least one of the following global e-commerce platforms: Qoo10, Shopee, or Amazon) • Perseverance-driven, accurate execution • Obsessed with achieving goals and delivering results • Flexible and effective communication, collaborating with other departments • Japanese proficiency (required)

<We'd love to have someone like this> • A strong understanding of K-pop and global K-content culture would be a great fit. • At least one year of experience operating a Japanese e-commerce site. • Experience with product ordering and inventory forecasting. • Experience living in Japan or in the Japanese market.
