Job Description

[Battery Cell/Material Development] - Battery cell and next-generation battery development Development of next-generation innovative materials, including all-solid-state batteries, lithium metal batteries, and lithium sulfur batteries Securing required performance and developing rapid charging patterns based on the characteristics of each battery type Battery structure/component design, simulation, and development Support for the development of battery materials (anode, cathode, electrolyte, separator) using surface/shape/organic/inorganic/crystal/electrochemical analyses Battery cell and product analysis and quality issue identification for electric vehicles/ESS/small applications Inorganic/organic/polymer/composite material simulation [Battery Pack/Module Development] - Battery pack/module structural design and verification Design and verification of battery pack/module mechanical structures and electrical circuits Design and platform development of battery pack/module electrical components Development and verification of thermal management systems through thermal/flow analysis and simulation Design and control of optimal protection circuits for each product and feature BMS circuit hardware design and Control SW Technology Development [Battery Evaluation and Analysis] - Battery requirements and product performance evaluation/verification Development product characteristics and performance evaluation/analysis, including battery life/safety Development of preliminary evaluation methods for next-generation batteries and new applications Evaluation data analysis, trend prediction, and automated development (machine learning) Verification and improvement of battery life within the system environment Development of mechanisms/components, performance verification, and improvement through heat transfer robust design [Battery Method Development] - Development of new battery mass production processes/methods Development of new innovative methods, including electrode plates, assembly, and formation (development of new material and structural design implementation plans) Verification of design consistency and mass production of platform/commercialized products (Design for Manufacturing) Analyze and improve process failures, and link design process failure modes (Design-Process FMEA integration)

Qualifications

- Applicants with at least two years of relevant experience. ※ For those who have (or are expected to have) a master's or doctoral degree, the period of study will be recognized as work experience. - Applicants who are foreign nationals and do not have any disqualifications for visa acquisition or domestic employment. - Applicants who have a TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) score of Level 3 or higher. ※ Scores from March 9, 2024, to March 9, 2026, will be accepted. However, applicants without language proficiency scores may submit their scores by August 2026.
