“We are looking for someone who goes beyond translation to ‘deliver’ content.” Story Taco is seeking a colleague who can properly convey our games and stories to the language and emotions of Japanese users. More than simple text translation: Content localization tailored to the emotional sensibilities of Japanese users Assistance with planning and operation of social media marketing content Identification of and communication with Japanese partners We are recruiting a reliable team member to collaborate seamlessly across the entire project. [Key Responsibilities] - Analysis of the Japanese market and competing games, trend research, and derivation of insights - Collaboration and communication regarding Japanese publishing/marketing (Collaboration with partners and relevant internal departments) - Management of overall Japanese service operations and execution of business tasks (Support for event planning/operation, writing announcements, responding to updates, etc.) - Conducting Game Localization Quality Assurance (LQA)

Qualifications

- Able to read and write Japanese naturally (native level preferred) - Someone who enjoys games and is interested in various game content - Someone who can responsibly complete assigned tasks to the end - Someone who checks content meticulously and strives not to miss even the smallest details - Someone who communicates smoothly with team members and is comfortable collaborating - Someone who is proactive in learning new tasks and growing

Preferred

- Native Japanese speaker or possess equivalent high proficiency in Japanese - Experience playing various games on mobile, PC, or console - Experience translating games or video/content subtitles (including personal projects) - Interest in and understanding of Japanese culture and the game market

- Contract or Intern (3 months or more, negotiable) - 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) - In-person work - Salary: Minimum wage guaranteed and negotiable during interview
