TOEIC Writer

Job Description

TOEIC writers develop practice TOEIC tests, mainly for YBM's test prep books and classes. This involves coming up with a realistic scenario, researching the topic if needed, creating a short script or reading passage, and devising related multiple-choice questions. It requires both creativity and the ability to follow a strict format. *Remote work is allowed 6 days per month after a three-month probationary period.

Qualifications

- Native fluency in English - Extensive knowledge of the conventions of English grammar and usage - Optional: formal EFL or ESL teaching experience with adult learners - An F-series visa OR at least one of the following so that the company can sponsor you for an E-7 visa: 1) a master’s degree in a related field (e.g., English, journalism) 2) a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year of experience as a writer of English test preparation or education materials
