Play Mentors for a Todders' Creative Play Programme

Job Description

Hello — we’re looking for English-speaking mentors to lead an afternoon play programme for toddlers at a new family culture space opening in Jongno-gu. We’re not a formal educational institute or academy, but a group of parents aiming to build a community of families and create a safe, healthy environment for our children. The programme is designed to facilitate free, creative play for young children. • Sessions will be centred around a variety of cultural activities, including music, dance, arts and crafts, and more. A structured curriculum will be provided, which you will deliver to a small group of children. • Applicants must be fluent in English (native speakers preferred) and able to communicate in conversational Korean. While sessions will be conducted in English, toddlers may have limited English ability. You are NOT expected to teach English. • Each session will include 6–8 pre-school children (ages 3–6). • Sessions will run Monday to Friday from 15:30–17:30 (including preparation and clean-up time), with approximately 80 minutes of active session time. You may choose the day(s) you wish to join us. • The programme is expected to launch in late April. Applicants should be available to commit for at least two months from the start date. • You must have legal authorization to work in Korea.
