Job Description

Service and Content Localization: Translate and localize the dialogue, scenarios, and worldview settings of AI characters within Babechat to suit Taiwanese sensibilities. UI/UX Text Optimization: Refine text throughout the service, including the in-app interface, announcements, and FAQs, to ensure it is easy for Taiwanese users to understand and sounds natural. LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance): Directly test Taiwanese builds to check for and correct mistranslations, awkward expressions, and text truncation issues. Marketing Material Localization: Write attractive phrases for local Taiwanese ad copy, social media content, and store detail pages to drive user engagement. Providing Local Culture Insights: Analyze Taiwanese slang, memes, and subculture trends to incorporate them into the planning of in-service events and content.

Qualifications

Native-level Taiwanese (Traditional) proficiency with a clear understanding of the differences between Standard Mandarin and vocabulary/expressions unique to Taiwan. Exceptional Korean to Taiwanese translation skills and the ability to communicate in Korean at a business level. At least 2 years of experience in translating or localizing IT services, games, or entertainment content such as web novels and webtoons. The ability to creatively transcreate by grasping the context of the text and the personalities of the characters. A meticulous personality who adheres to the basics, such as typos and spelling, and strictly meets deadlines.
