Job Description

- Participate in meetings with Japanese local governments, travel agencies, and experience providers, and manage ongoing communication and relationships. - Plan local experience-based travel packages that allow Koreans to travel to rural areas and small towns in Japan, and identify local travel agencies, local governments, and experience providers to connect with the Nolneunbeop platform. - Manage operational tasks, such as booking local buses and accommodations, to ensure the smooth operation of sold travel packages. - Work with Japanese travel agencies to draft and coordinate proposals for public projects, such as those organized by the Japan Tourism Agency. - (Optional) You may also perform guide duties accompanying Korean guests on local tours in Japan. (Not mandatory; additional guide fees provided)

Qualifications

- Native-level Japanese speaker capable of business communication in Korean - Current resident in Korea holding a visa allowing employment in Korea (eligible for the four major social insurances) - Interest and passion for the travel and tourism business - Ability to communicate smoothly with various stakeholders - Proficiency in writing reports and documents (PPT, etc.)

Preferred

- Experience in travel agencies, OTAs, or tourism content - Experience managing projects for Japanese local governments or public institutions, or operating inbound/outbound travel products - Experience writing proposals for public contests or grant programs, such as those organized by the Japan Tourism Agency - Experience using collaboration tools like Notion or Slack (team communication is mostly conducted online) - Ability to drive (business trips to Korea and Japan are frequent) - Ability to work responsibly in an autonomous work environment
