Localization Specialist – Portuguese Translation Quality Research and Development (Contract)

Job Description

- Establishment, improvement, and operation of Portuguese localization quality standards (style guide, glossary management, etc.) - Review and improvement of translation language quality - Streamlining localization operations through collaboration with relevant departments

Qualifications

- Candidates with native-level language skills in Korean and Portuguese - Candidates strong in details and possessing the patience and focus for repetitive quality verification tasks - Candidates proficient in writing structured documents and clear communication

Preferred

- Candidates with practical experience in webtoon/content translation and localization (experience in designing language assets, such as style guides, is preferred) - Holders of a degree in linguistics, Portuguese, or a related field - Candidates capable of logically explaining the factors that distinguish naturalness from unnaturalness in language expression and systematizing these factors - Candidates with experience living in Brazil - Proficient in English or Japanese (proficient in other languages ​​is also preferred)
