Job Description
[Introducing Wadiz] Wadiz is an Asian innovation platform creating a “world where anyone can take on challenges” without the constraints of national borders. We enable new endeavors for makers and provide supporters with the opportunity to be the first to encounter products and experiences that have never existed before. People challenging themselves toward a better world and those joining them at the beginning are coming together to create the start of innovation. [Introducing Our Team] The Wadiz Overseas Sales Team plays a role in expanding Wadiz’s services beyond borders and helping global makers successfully establish themselves in the Korean market. Beyond simply bringing in overseas products, our goal is to realize borderless challenges by resolving the barriers of language, culture, and complex distribution structures that global makers face when connecting with domestic supporters. To this end, our team focuses on identifying promising makers and partners within the global market and designing collaboration programs and business models optimized for the specific market conditions of each country. In particular, we proactively address the challenge of preempting business opportunities by strengthening our global partnership network, enabling diverse brands from around the world to connect with Korean fans through Wadiz. Based on our field-oriented execution capabilities, we rapidly verify hypotheses and solve problems through organic collaboration with various organizations. [A Message to Those Joining Us] “The Japanese market is a key hub for Wadiz’s global expansion. We are looking for someone who will not merely execute predetermined answers, but will directly design and shape Wadiz’s next growth in the Japanese market. Please join us in opening up new possibilities for Wadiz at the forefront of global business connecting Korea and Japan.” [What a Business Development Manager for the Japanese Market Does] • Identify new business opportunities within the Japanese market and establish mid-to-long-term business strategies. • Identify various partners, including local platforms, brands, and distributors in Japan, and pursue partnerships. • Research the Japanese crowdfunding and commerce markets and derive business insights. • Plan local projects in Japan and support the entire launch process. • Coordinate communication and collaboration between the local office in Japan and the headquarters in Korea. • Plan and execute sales and marketing activities to expand revenue in the Japanese market. [You can experience this growth.] • Gain experience in directly identifying new business opportunities and structuring businesses within the Japanese market. • Gain experience in business development at the market level, rather than on a single project basis. • Strengthen your global business communication capabilities through collaboration with local partners in Japan. • As a key liaison between the headquarters in Korea and the local office in Japan, build influence within the global organization. • Create a tangible impact on a rapidly growing global platform.

Preferred
