Job Description

Stranger Soccer, a global football platform, is launching and growing in Seoul — and we are looking for friendly, energetic Game Hosts to help us create fun, high-quality pick-up soccer/football experiences for expats, foreign residents, international students, and local players. Stranger Soccer Seoul is an English-friendly platform where people from different backgrounds can connect, play, socialize, and feel welcome through football. 💰 Pay: KRW 50,000 per hour 🎁 First cohort benefit: US$100 worth of free equipment 🕒 Flexible schedule 🌙 Weekday evenings 📅 Weekends available ⚽ Minimum commitment: 2 days/week, 2 hours/day 🌍 English fluency required 🇰🇷 Korean not required, but a plus 👥 Foreign residents with valid work eligibility are welcome

Qualifications

We are looking for people who are sociable, friendly, reliable, passionate about football, and excited to help build a more connected, English-friendly community for expats, foreign residents, and football lovers in Seoul. Soccer/football athletic experience, coaching experience, refereeing experience, or community-hosting experience will be advantages, but they are not mandatory. Foreign residents should hold either an eligible H or F visa status that permits paid activity, or a D or E visa status with proper immigration permission for this role, where required. Applicants may be asked to confirm citizenship, visa type, and work eligibility before hosting games.

As a Game Host, you will schedule and promote your own games through our platform, welcome players, referee and manage the flow of games, organize player positions, play together when needed, and make sure each session starts, runs, and finishes smoothly. Think of it as running your own small football business with the support of a global brand. The first cohort of Game Hosts will be treated as founding brand ambassadors of Stranger Soccer Seoul and will receive exceptional early-stage benefits, including US$100 worth of free Stranger Soccer equipment, priority hosting opportunities, and the chance to help shape Seoul’s new international football community from the beginning.
