Job Description

1) Robotics Operations Platform Design & Development (Web/Desktop + Backend) - Design and implementation of operational applications (UI and services) for controlling and monitoring multiple aircraft/equipment - Development of product features encompassing mission/scenario configuration, execution status monitoring, logs/alerts, and operational workflows - (If necessary) Development and integration of desktop client or field UI (e.g., Qt-based) 2) Real-time Communication Layer & Link Management - Design of real-time telemetry/command uplink paths between drones/rovers/edge devices and servers - Construction of real-time data pipelines based on WebSockets, pub/sub, streaming protocols, etc. - Link state management (retries/recovery), failsafe logic, and communication stabilization responding to changes in network quality - (Preferred) Experience integrating MAVLink, Ardupilot/PX4, and robotics backend protocols 3) Video/Data Link and Streaming Optimization (Reconnaissance/Surveillance, etc.) - Design and operation of streaming pipelines such as RTSP/RTMP Optimization - Improvement of transmission strategies considering latency, bandwidth, and reliability - Tuning and troubleshooting in field network environments (unstable LTE/5G/mesh networks, etc.) 4) Data/Storage/Backend Infrastructure (Telemetry · Mission · Production) - Design of structures for collecting and storing telemetry/logs/events/video metadata - Development of APIs for storing and querying mission/scenario definitions, execution results, and reproducible operational history - Establishment of pipelines for collecting and visualizing production line/operational data (cycle time, error, sensor data) - Design and operation of relational/time-series databases (PostgreSQL, Timescale, Influx, etc.) 5) Development of Internal Tools and Web UI (Dashboards · Configuration · Labeling) - Development of mission/scenario configuration UI and operational dashboards (telemetry/logs/production metrics) - Automation of internal tools and workflows for data analysis and quality checks - Collaboration with LLM/Data teams Provision of scenario/mission data labeling/verification tools 6) Implementation of Security/Authorization/Network Security Framework - Application of security best practices such as Authentication/Authorization (AuthN/Z), authorization/role-based access control, and audit logs - Application of transmit/stay encryption, secret management, secure API design, and secure coding - Configuration of secure networking between field equipment and the platform: Tunneling (FRP, etc.), reverse SSH, VPN, etc. 7) Collaboration and Interface Definition - Joint definition of APIs, message schemas, and operational scenarios with robotics engineers - Integration of mission planner and automation functions into the platform with LLM engineers

Qualifications

- Over 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack or Backend-focused engineer launching and operating production systems - Backend proficiency (e.g., Python/FastAPI, Go, Node, etc.) + experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React/Vue, etc.) - Experience with database design and operations (Relational and/or Time-series: PostgreSQL/Timescale/Influx, etc.) - Understanding of and experience implementing real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming protocols, pub/sub, etc.) - Software security fundamentals: Authentication/authorization, secret management, encryption (in transit/at rest), audit logs, secure coding - Experience with network protocols and security configurations (tunneling/reverse connections/VPN, etc.) - UI/UX sense and collaboration experience (Qt experience preferred)

Preferred

- Experience developing MAVLink, Ardupilot/PX4, and robotics/drone operation platforms - Experience building/optimizing RTSP/RTMP or real-time video streaming pipelines - Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC - Fluent in English communication (especially for documentation and collaboration)
