Job Description

Teach adult learners (ages 20+) in group classes (PAGODA Academy) or 1-on-1 private lessons (PAGODA ONE). Deliver engaging conversational, business, and test-prep English lessons using PAGODA’s digital materials and computer-based teaching systems. Provide constructive student feedback and conduct initial level assessments. Minimal administrative duties—focus purely on classroom teaching without unnecessary paperwork or desk-warming requirements.

Qualifications

Native English speaker holding citizenship from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, or New Zealand (eligible for an E-2 visa per Korean immigration law) OR current F-2 / F-5 / F-6 visa holder / Korean national. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university (Apostilled diploma required for E-2 applicants). Clean nationwide criminal background check (Apostilled CRC required for E-2 applicants). Passionate, professional educator dedicated to inspiring adult learners.

Preferred

Prior ESL/EFL teaching experience, particularly with adult learners or corporate professionals. Holders of TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or formal state/national teaching certifications. Familiarity with educational software, interactive whiteboards, or online teaching tools. Candidates seeking multi-year career growth and advancement into senior/managerial roles.

Contract Term: 12-month renewable contract. Working Hours: 40-hour booking window (Attendance required only when classes are scheduled; senior teachers average 32–36 hours per week). Location: Various branches across Seoul and Busan. Compensation: Performance-based compensation, split-shift bonuses, and contract renewal bonuses.
