Job Description
• Plan and coordinate international exchange projects in inclusive dance and the performing arts. • Communicate with international artists, dance companies, festivals, and partner organizations. • Coordinate international artist invitations and overseas engagements, including schedules, travel, accommodation, and required documentation. • Support international co-creation projects, artist residencies, workshops, and performances. • Coordinate international participants and on-site operations for the Korea International Accessible Dance Festival (KIADA). • Prepare English correspondence, project proposals, presentations, and promotional materials. • Manage project schedules, track budgets, and prepare administrative documents and project reports in collaboration with the team.
Qualifications
• Professional English communication skills, including email writing and participation in meetings. • Korean communication skills sufficient for day-to-day teamwork and administrative tasks. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines. • Ability to communicate respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with different access needs. • Interest in inclusive arts, dance, and international cultural exchange. • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
Preferred
• Experience in international cultural exchange, arts administration, or performing arts project coordination. • Experience working with international artists, festivals, or cultural organizations. • Experience coordinating artist travel, residencies, workshops, or performances. • Experience in inclusive arts or working with artists with disabilities. • Experience preparing project proposals, budgets, or reports. • Korean–English translation or interpreting skills. • Proficiency in additional languages.

Light Sound Friends is a nonprofit arts organization based in Seoul, South Korea. We support the artistic development and professional opportunities of artists with disabilities through dance education, performance, and international collaboration. Our programs include Mixed Abilities Dance Education (MADE), the Korea International Accessible Dance Festival (KIADA), and our adult and children's dance companies. This role works closely with our team and international partners to support inclusive arts projects from planning through delivery.
