Content Translator (Kyarapu)

Job Description

• Localize original/only content within our group services (Crack, OOC, Charapu) into Japanese and supply it to the global market. • Review translation drafts generated by AI and refine them into natural-sounding local content by reflecting character speech patterns, relationships, worldviews, and the context of the works. • Select works suitable for global distribution based on the content grammar and user preferences of each language region. • Going beyond simple translation, we enhance content completeness by supplementing necessary areas such as character introductions, settings, and expressions to suit target services. • Manage localization and supply schedules for each piece of content, and improve translation quality and work efficiency by organizing recurring expressions and standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates who understand the meaning and nuances of content and can localize it into natural-sounding Japanese • Candidates with a high level of understanding of the conversational style, character expressions, and cultural contexts actually used by Japanese users • Candidates with experience translating, localizing, or editing content from other cultures to suit the Japanese market • Candidates with a high level of understanding of fandoms and story- and character-centric content such as manga, webtoons, web novels, games, and animations • Candidates who have personally used AI character chat or have an interest in and understanding of AI Native content

• Candidates with long-term experience living, studying, or working in Japan • Candidates who frequently enjoy Japanese subculture content such as manga, light novels, games, and anime, and are familiar with the grammar of local content • Candidates capable of naturally designing Japanese character expressions, including speech patterns, titles, first and second person pronouns, and levels of honorifics • Candidates with experience improving work efficiency by utilizing AI translation and generative AI tools • Candidates capable of meticulously managing consistency in settings and expressions across works while handling multiple types of content simultaneously
