[WHIF] Taiwan Business Manager

Job Description

Define the core problems to be solved to achieve the No. 1 position in the Taiwanese market, derive solutions, and lead their direct execution. To this end, the role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • Taiwanese market analysis and competitor monitoring and analysis • Community management (Discord, Threads, Dcard, PTT, Plurk, etc.), user engagement, and collection and analysis of VoC through user interviews • Analysis of Taiwanese user behavior and marketing data, and derivation of insights • Formulation of hypotheses based on VoC and data, and rapid experimentation and verification • Analysis and procurement of characters, worldviews, and content tailored to Taiwanese user preferences, and quality control for Traditional Chinese localization • Improvement of acquisition, retention, and monetization funnels, and identification and execution of IP and local partnerships • Designing and monitoring key metrics, collaboration with teams, and project coordination and management

Qualifications

• Someone who can define problems independently in uncertain environments and lead the process end-to-end, from solution derivation to execution. • Someone who can move seamlessly across product, marketing, and operations without job boundaries, and can personally handle practical tasks such as customer service responses or writing community posts when necessary. • Someone who can formulate and test hypotheses by combining qualitative insights (VoC, interviews) with quantitative data. • Someone who can communicate fluently in Korean for work and interact with local users in Traditional Chinese. • Someone who understands and appreciates female-oriented content (otome games, web novels/webtoons, subculture, idols, etc.) and the sensibilities of its users.

Preferred

• Experience living or working in Taiwan, or experience entering or launching in the Taiwanese market • Experience with overseas growth for consumer apps, games, or content platforms. In particular, experience with the 0→1 or 1→10 stages. • Experience working in related services such as AI character chat, otome games, or web novel/webtoon platforms. • A heavy user who frequently uses AI character chat services. • Someone who can achieve high productivity independently by actively utilizing AI tools across all business operations (research, analysis, content creation, automation, etc.).
