Job Description

- We here at Nexon Korea are looking for a Localization Coordinator to help us localize anime-inspired narratives and video game content into English, while also helping coordinate workflows between the various parties involved in a localization process. - We are looking for someone who · Has an eye for linguistic nuance · Likes to dive into lore & analyze characters in nerdy detail · Goes beyond dictionary definitions to accurately perceive the intended effect of a Korean source and reproduce it faithfully in English · Elicits immersion and engagement through carefully crafted writing - As this is a hybrid role involving workflow management, we are also looking for someone who · Enjoys the operational side of making a project run smoothly and efficiently, and is capable of juggling various moving pieces (schedules, vendors, internal stakeholders, etc.) without losing sight of localization quality · Communicates clearly and proactively with teams and partners both inside and outside the organization, such as development/business teams and vendors · Can efficiently organize and prioritize tasks when constraints collide to optimally allocate resources within a given situation - 인게임 스토리 컨텐츠 및 캐릭터 대사의 영어 현지화 - 현지화 일정 조율 및 프로젝트 진행 관리 - 현지화 리소스(파일/버전/외주 발주납품) 관리 - 개발 및 사업 부서 및 외주 업체와의 커뮤니케이션

Qualifications

- Experience in managing and operating project localization tasks - Experience in vendor communication or similar coordination - At least 2 years of management experience - [Required Submission] Directly produced Korean to English translations of games, movies, webtoons, etc. (Narrative - dialogue included required)

- Experience as a Game Localization PM or in project management - Experience using CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ) - Experience handling outsourcing contracts and costs - High understanding of the LQA process - High understanding of English-speaking pop culture and subculture fandoms
