- Evaluation of metal materials and conductor materials for wires, review of process conditions, and data analysis - Processing, heat treatment, material property evaluation, and reliability verification experiments for metal materials used in wires and cables - Identification of issues, cause analysis, and identification of improvement directions during prototype production and evaluation - Preparation of R&D documents, organization of experimental results, and management of test data This is a recruitment-linked internship at the LS Cable & System Convergence Technology Research Institute, where you will research metals and composite materials for wires and cables. You can apply your master's degree in materials science to material characterization and process research.

Qualifications

- Education: Master's degree or higher | Major: Materials Science - Language Proficiency: Korean TOPIK Level 3 or higher / English TOEIC 700 or higher, or TOEIC Speaking or OPIc IM2 or higher - Basic knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes, including metal microstructure, heat treatment, and mechanical and electrical properties - Basic understanding of non-ferrous metal materials for wires and cables, as well as composite materials - Basic statistical knowledge for analyzing experimental data - Evaluation of metal material properties and utilization of analysis equipment (microstructure, tensile and hardness testing, electrical conductivity measurement, etc.) - A diligent and meticulous research attitude, adherence to safety protocols and research ethics, and a willingness to learn new materials and technologies

Preferred

- Major in non-ferrous metal refining/smelting - Proficiency in AI and data analysis tools - Proficiency in simulation programs
