Job Description

- Diagnosing the health of power and telecommunications infrastructure and improving performance (measurement distance, error) through fiber-optic-based temperature, strain, and vibration detection - Investigating the latest global papers (IEEE, Cigre, etc.) and patent trends to derive research directions - Refining and statistically analyzing large datasets, designing and implementing AI model-based alarm logic, and proposing service commercialization strategies - Precise measurement using analysis equipment and data-driven cause analysis This is a recruitment-linked internship at the LS Cable & System Construction Research Institute, where you will diagnose the health of power and telecommunications infrastructure based on fiber-optic sensing. You will be able to apply your master's degree capabilities in Optics, Electronics, and Computer Science, as well as your expertise in data and AI.

Qualifications

- Education: Master's degree or higher | Major: Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science (including Optics) - Language: Korean TOPIK Level 3 or higher / English TOEIC 700 or higher, or TOEIC Speaking or OPIc IM2 or higher - Basic theories in majors such as Optics, Computer Science, or Electronics, concepts of data statistical analysis, and proficiency in utilizing AI-based research - Required Skills: Understanding of optical fiber-based physical quantity sensing mechanisms, operation of analytical and measuring instruments, and utilization of data analysis tools - Logical analysis skills and a proactive willingness to solve problems, creative thinking, and a positive attitude toward collaboration

- AI VIVE Coding Capabilities - Experience in creating prototypes or producing deliverables through competitions and projects
