- Production Management: Support for the collection, analysis, and reporting of production plans, performance, inventory, and delivery data / Support for coordinating process flow and production schedules, and managing requests from related departments / Support for productivity and cost improvement tasks and work standard management - Quality Assurance: Support for quality control documents, inspection reports, and preparation for customer and certification tests / Support for process and product quality data analysis and defect/issue improvement activities / Support for compliance activities with on-site quality standards and safety/environmental standards - Process Improvement: Support for managing cable manufacturing process conditions and equipment operation data / Support for productivity and yield improvement tasks utilizing IE and improvement techniques / Support for maintaining on-site work standards and establishing flexible production systems This is a recruitment-linked internship that supports production stabilization and quality competitiveness enhancement at LS Cable & System's power and telecommunications cable manufacturing sites. You will be placed in one of the following fields based on your major and competencies.

Qualifications

- Education: Currently enrolled or prospective graduate of a domestic 4-year university (or graduate school) - Major: Science and Engineering (Preference given to majors related to Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical/Polymer, Industrial Engineering, etc.) - Eligibility: International students residing in Korea who are capable of working domestically after an internship or conversion to full-time employment, and who meet the requirements for a valid work permit. - Basic engineering knowledge in fields such as Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Materials, and Chemical/Polymer Engineering; interest in cable manufacturing processes, quality control, and productivity improvement - Ability to organize and analyze production and quality data using tools like Excel - Attitude of adhering to on-site safety regulations and logically analyzing problems - Collaboration skills to perform basic work communication and reporting in Korean - Attitude of actively participating in work at domestic sites and field training

Preferred

- Manufacturing field training or internship experience related to production or quality - Experience with Six Sigma, quality control, statistical tools (such as Minitab), or data analysis - Experience using design tools such as AutoCAD or interest in the power or cable industry
