[U.S. College Admissions Consulting] Essay Consultant (Experienced)

Job Description

· Coach students through all components of U.S. college admissions essays (Common App, UC PIQs, Supplemental Essays, etc.) · Help students craft authentic narratives aligned with their academic goals · Provide structured editing support on tone, clarity, and storytelling · Collaborate with the strategist to ensure application consistency · Support summer program applications, including essays and short responses · Conduct research on student programs, competitions, and opportunities · Extracurricular planning and strategy

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or higher (U.S./U.K. university strongly preferred) · Demonstrated excellence in English writing and narrative craft · 1+ years of experience in writing instruction, admissions coaching, or related fields · Strong communication skills with a student-centered mindset · Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred

· Ivy League graduate (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or Stanford preferred) · Humanities/Social Sciences majors strongly preferred (English, Literature, Creative Writing, History, Sociology, Political Science, etc.) · Understanding of U.S. admissions evaluation standards and expectations · Experience working with Korean or international students · Availability for evening/weekend sessions when needed
