Job Description

• Management of Chinese manufacturers and existing clients • Product ordering, production schedule, and delivery management • Verification of import documents and cooperation on shipping and customs clearance • Requesting product samples and communicating production specifications and quality improvement suggestions • Identifying new Chinese manufacturers and sourcing products • Comparison of manufacturer quotes, MOQs, and production costs • New product development and communication support for Chinese factories

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in import, trade, and purchasing • Fluent in business communication in Chinese • Able to communicate and report in Korean • Able to communicate with overseas suppliers • Understanding of customs clearance and logistics processes • Experience in cost management and unit price negotiation • Able to manage data using Excel • Responsible and meticulous in managing tasks

Preferred

• Experience in household goods, leisure goods, and small home appliances • Understanding of Incoterms and payment terms • Experience with overseas exhibitions and meetings with vendors and factories • Proficiency in utilizing ERP and SCM systems • Ability to manage risks and propose improvements • Experience with OEM/ODM transactions with Chinese manufacturers • Ability to visit local factories and travel to China • Experience with sourcing using Alibaba, 1688, etc.
