QuarterFull is seeking someone to discover Japanese authors and propose collaborations to create new original works. This position requires an understanding of Japanese novels, readers, and the creative community, and involves working with the Korean team. https://story.quarterfull.io/ja/ [Main Responsibilities] 1. Research Japanese novel submission sites, creative communities, and publishing-related media to discover potential authors for collaboration. 2. Review works, reader feedback, and publicly available information, and organize reasons for recommendation. 3. Confirm official contact points and create and contact collaboration proposals for each author. 4. Manage replies and follow-ups, and share progress with the Korean team. 5. Record research results, communication history, and progress. [Work Conditions] Full-time employee. Monday to Friday, working at the Pangyo office in Korea. You will start work before 11:30 AM and manage your own schedule to complete your work and leave on a full-time basis. This work style is based on the standard working hours, not the fixed hours listed in the working hours section. Work Location: FastFive, B1, 660 Daewangpangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기도 성남시 분당구 대왕판교로 660). Salary: 40,000,000 won per year (before tax). Salary will be discussed after the interview, taking into account experience and abilities. Work visa application support is available (qualifications and screening requirements must be met). [Selection Process] As part of the document screening, a 30-minute online casual interview will be conducted with some applicants. Those selected for an in-person interview will be selected based on a comprehensive review of their application documents and interview content. Qualifications

* Ability to create natural and polite business documents in Japanese. * Understanding of Japanese culture, novels, readers, and creative communities. * Ability to participate in meetings, write reports, and discuss work with colleagues in Korean. * For non-native Korean speakers, TOPIK Level 6 is the minimum requirement. Actual Korean language proficiency will also be assessed. * Ability to conduct independent research, explain reasoning, and take responsibility for follow-up. * Ability to commute to Pangyo and work full-time.

Preferred

We prioritize candidates who are native Japanese speakers and possess a deep understanding of Japanese culture and readers. Long-term residency, study, or work experience in Japan is also highly valued. Experience in publishing, writer scouting, content acquisition, sales, or partnerships is a plus. Applicants without prior experience in related fields are also welcome.
