Start your teaching career with Korean learners! HOTPOT is recruiting native English speakers from the US and Canada for freelance, online/phone 1-on-1 English lessons with Korean professionals. We are building a pool of up to 20 tutors. Lessons focus on everyday conversation and workplace communication. Each student is expected to receive 30 or 50 minutes of lessons per week; your total teaching load and schedule will be discussed individually. Basic Korean is welcome. This opportunity may suit people who want to gain experience teaching Korean learners and begin a teaching career connected to Korea. Compensation is modest. Remote work; applicants may be based in Korea or overseas. Please share your time zone and availability in Korean Standard Time. 자격 요건

• Native English speaker from the US or Canada • Basic Korean communication skills or higher (beginner Korean is welcome) • Able to teach online/phone lessons with a reliable internet connection and a quiet environment • Please provide your country of residence, time zone, Korean level, and weekly availability 미국·캐나다 영어 원어민으로 한국어 기초 소통이 가능하고, 안정적인 환경에서 비대면 수업을 진행할 수 있는 분을 찾습니다.

우대 사항

Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or working with Korean learners is a plus, but previous teaching experience is not required. We welcome applicants who are starting their teaching careers. 교육·튜터링·한국인 학습자 지도 경험 우대. 교육 경력이 없는 분도 지원 가능합니다.

A CV is required for review. Pay: KRW 15,000/hour, negotiable. Detailed lesson and payment terms will be discussed individually. This recruitment is for a project bid.
