안녕하세요. 한국에서 일한 지 6개월 된 외국인입니다. 회사에서 자주 “회식”을 하는데 저는 이 문화가 아직 이해가 잘 안 됩니다. 업무가 끝난 후에 다 같이 밥 먹고 술 마시는 건 괜찮지만 문제는 거의 “의무”처럼 느껴진다는 점입니다. 제가 몇 번 개인적인 이유로 빠지고 싶다고 했더니 팀 분위기가 조금 어색해졌고 다른 동료가 “그래도 한 번은 가야 하지 않겠냐”라고 말했습니다. 제 나라에서는 퇴근 후 시간은 완전히 개인 시간이라 회사 사람이랑 꼭 같이 시간을 보내지 않아도 괜찮거든요...
