E-7 - Self-employment as part of experience years

Hi. A company gave a verbal offer for a creative production-related role. But they called out to me about visa application, and they said the visa agency they consulted with told them that it would be impossible to push my application forward because of my work experience duration (7 months company-employed + 1.5 years self-employed/freelance). I know that immigration would be difficult to deal with, but I still want to hope for the best because I was "legally" freelancing -- I was self-employed with a business registration, and therefore it was still work experience. May I ask if anyone with a past similar experience, and if there were any documents you had to prepare apart from the business certificate and the income tax returns?

출입국 관리법 위반 범칙금 관련해서 질문 드려요

안녕하세요. 현재 한국의 한 기업에서 인턴중이며, F-2-7 비자 신청을 준비 중인 구직자입니다. 베트남은 아포스티유 비협약국이라 범죄경력증명서, 가족관계 증명서에 번역공증 + 베트남외교부 인증 + 한국영사 인증을 받아야 해요. 이게 생각한거 보다 시간이 많이 걸려서, 어쩌면 제 체류 만료일인 10월 14일 이후에 출입국 접수를 해야할 수도 있어요. 저는 이미 D-10 3번 연장했어서, 이제 D-10 연장은 불가능해요. 10월 14일 이후에 출입국 접수하면 출입국 관리법 위반으로 범칙금 내야한다고 하는데, 범칙금 내면 베트남으로 돌아가야 하나요ㅠ? 벌금은 어느 정도 될까요? 알려주시면 좋겠어요

Chuseok is a pretty long break and seems like a special time in Korea. Even my regular café is taking Oct 5–7 off—do many places close then? If so, when do they usually close?

안녕하세요. 얼마 전 직장을 그만두고, 구직하고 있는 대만인입니다. 저는 현재 한국에 취업하는 것을 알아보고 있습니다. 한국에서 대학을 나온 친구들 말에 따르면 유학생 대부분이 D-10 비자로 바꾼 후, 한국에서 인턴십을 하거나 구직활동을 한다고 들었습니다. 저는 대만에 있는 대학교에서 한국어학과를 졸업했고, 석사 학위나 어학연수는 고려하고 있지 않습니다. 한국어도 이미 토픽 6급을 땄어요. 대만에서 D-10 비자를 받아 한국으로 입국할 수 있을까요?
