Messed up at my internship. What should I do?

I’m on D-10 visa and I’m on my second internship after two previous 3-month internships. This time they said they could sponsor my E-7 visa after 6 months internship. It’s been a month and a half but I messed up big time at work and it doesn’t look good. I might not get fired but I don’t think they will regularize me anymore. What should I do? I can’t extend my visa anymore so I got 7 months left.
