D-4 Visa Issuance

I’m planning to take the Korean language program at Yonsei, but I’m worried because I have a long gap. I finished a beginner course back in 2012, then only took one Korean course in my home country in 2021, and there has been a gap since then. If I apply again after this kind of break, could it make the visa harder to get? I’m really concerned about this...
