Visa Description
- Receiving education or training or conducting research at an institution or business organization other than an educational or academic research institution eligible for D-2 status
- Maximum period of stay that can be granted once: 2 years.
Visa Candidate
- Those studying Korean at a university-affiliated language school
- Those who receive education at institutions other than those eligible for study abroad (D-2) status or academic research institutions.
- Training in technology, skills, etc. at national or public research institutes or training centers.
- Receiving education or training as an intern (trainee) at a foreign-invested company or a company that has invested in a foreign country, or engaging in research activities.
Visa Requirements
- Application form, passport, one standard-sized photograph, and fee.
- A copy of the institution's business license or unique number card
- Standardized admission letter (issued by the university president or dean)
- Certificate of enrollment or proof of final grades
- Original documents are preferred, and copies must be checked by the person in charge and attached if necessary.
- Proof of finances (equivalent to $10,000 USD)
- Examples of financial documents (bank statements, passbooks, scholarship certificates, bank statements, etc.
- When submitting a parent's balance certificate, an additional family relationship certificate is required.
- Proof of financial capability (tuition + accommodation) for one year (6 months of study abroad)
- Training plan (including class schedule, instructor organization, training facilities, etc.)
