Visa Description
- (General job search, D-10-1) Includes job search activities at domestic companies, organizations, etc. as well as short-term internships with training fees prior to formal employment.
- (Technology Startup Preparation, D-10-2) All preparatory activities related to startups, such as participation in startup immigrant education programs, preparation and filing of patent applications including intellectual property rights, and preparation for the establishment of startup corporations (internship activities are limited).
- (High-tech intern, D-10-3) Intern activities in the high-tech field under an internship contract with a company that meets the requirements set by the Minister of Justice.
- Maximum period of stay that can be granted once: 6 months (can be extended up to 4 times)
Visa Candidate
- General job search (D-10-1)
- (Applicants subject to the scoring system) Bachelor's Degree Applicants who have a bachelor's degree or higher from a domestic university and are looking for a job, and have a total score of 60 points or more, with 20 points or more in basic items out of a total score of 190 points (see D-10-1 TEST).
- (Exempted from the scoring system) Those who have not passed three years since graduating from a domestic university with a bachelor's degree or higher, who have a valid TOPIK score report of level 4 or higher, who have passed the midterm assessment of stage 4 of the social integration program, or who have been assigned to stage 5 of the pre-assessment.
- Entrepreneurship Preparation (D-10-2)
- Bachelor's Degree Holders of a domestic professional bachelor's degree or higher who meet any of the following requirements.
- Holders of Korean intellectual property rights such as patents, utility models, and design rights or pending applications.
- Holders of OECD intellectual property rights
- Those who are participating in the curriculum of the Online Entrepreneurial Immigration System (OASIS) implemented by the Global Entrepreneurial Immigration Center jointly designated by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, or who have completed part or all of the curriculum within the last three years.
- High-tech intern (D-10-3)
- Students who are enrolled in a bachelor's program or higher in a high-tech field at an overseas university (this university only), or graduates (bachelor's: under 30 years of age, master's or higher: under 35 years of age) who have signed an internship contract with a domestic company that falls under any of the following.
- Domestic listed companies with research facilities (research departments) in high-tech fields
- A domestic company with a company-affiliated research center or a dedicated R&D department under Article 14(2) of the Basic Research Act
- A company designated as a high-tech company under Article 9 of the Special Act on the Development of R&D Special Zones
- Venture companies that have been identified by the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises pursuant to Article 25 of the Special Measures for the Promotion of Venture Companies Act.
- National research institutes, designated research institutes, and government-affiliated research institutes in the field of science and technology.

- Participants can only be granted a visa through a visa issuance authorization letter and can be granted a stay of up to one year to attract talented people (but cannot exceed the internship period specified in the contract).

- Certificate of enrollment or graduation (diploma) from a regular degree program (high-tech field only) at an overseas university ranked in the top 200 by Time magazine and 500 by QS World University Rankings.
- Internship contract
- Business license (or unique number) of the host company (organization), corporate register, employment insurance list, and research facility status data
- Documents to prove that the company (organization) is a company that can invite high-tech interns (option 1 below)
- Documents that can prove that the company is a publicly traded company and has a research facility (research department) in the field of high technology (applicable person)
- Documents confirming that the company has been recognized as a company-affiliated research institute or a dedicated R&D department under Article 14(2) of the Basic Research Act (Certificate of Recognition of Company-affiliated Research Institute or Certificate of Recognition of Dedicated R&D Department).
- Documents confirming that the company has been designated as a high-tech company pursuant to Article 9 of the Special Act on the Development of R&D Special Zones (High-tech Company Designation Certificate).
- Documents confirming that you are a venture company under Article 25 of the Special Measures for the Promotion of Venture Companies Act (Venture Company Confirmation)
