Visa Description
- A person recognized by the Minister of Justice as a person who intends to engage in employment activities in the fields of agricultural crop cultivation and harvesting (including raw material processing related to cultivation and harvesting) and raw material processing of marine products, as determined by the Minister of Justice in consultation with the head of the relevant central administrative agency.
- Maximum period of stay that can be granted once: 5 months (total period of stay cannot exceed 8 months)
Visa Candidate
- E-8-1: Selection through MOU between domestic and foreign local governments (Agriculture)
- E-8-2: Married immigrants can nominate relatives within 4 villages living abroad (Agriculture)
- E-8-3: MOU between domestic and foreign local governments (fishing)
- E-8-4: Married immigrants can nominate relatives within 4 villages living abroad (Fisheries)
- E-8-5: Re-entry recommendation after seasonal work in other (G-1) status (Agriculture)
- E-8-6: Recommendation for reentry after seasonal work in other (G-1) status (fishing)
- E-8-99: Other auxiliary personnel, such as language communication assistants (Other)
Visa Requirements
- Standard labor contract
- Travel insurance certificate
- If there are circumstances that prevent you from submitting the insurance certificate, please issue a visa issuance letter first and submit it later through the local government.
- Proof of domestic recruitment efforts (copies of job advertisements and final job results)
- Documents related to foreign seasonal workers
- Copy of foreign seasonal worker's passport
- MOU foreigners: history of working in agriculture and fisheries in their home country
- Relatives (including spouses) within the 4th degree of marriage: Family relationship certificate issued by the country of residence (country of stay)
- Documents related to accommodation inspection
- Foreign seasonal worker housing inspection certificate
- Photos (at least 2 photos including A. Building view B. Room C. Toilet/shower room)
- Copy of MOU (only submitted once per application year per municipality)
