Visa Candidate
- A domestic assistant at a foreign mission in Korea
- A domestic partner of a person in diplomatic (A-1) or cooperative (A-3) status who is not a member of the same household.
- Family members (spouse and minor children) of a person who has obtained F-4 status.
- Family members (spouses and minor children) of those who have obtained visitor (H-2) status
- Parents who intend to stay with a minor alien student who is enrolled or attending an institution of higher education below high school.
- A SOFA 21 dependent child or other family member over the age of 18 years old
- Other persons who are not engaged in professional activities for unavoidable reasons and are recognized as having circumstances that require them to stay in Korea for an extended period of time (subject to permission to change status of residence)
Visa Requirements
- Parents of international students (high school and below) (F-1-13)
- Visa application form, passport, one standard-sized photograph, and fee
- Letter of acceptance or proof of enrollment
- Proof of family relationship (original and translated, letter, birth certificate, etc.)
- Proof of ability to pay for the cost of staying in Korea (proof of bank account balance of more than the standard amount deposited for more than 3 months, etc.)
- Proof of financial ability (for nationals of multiple illegal immigration countries only)
- Withholding receipts issued (certified or notarized) by a domestic government agency or bank in an amount above the threshold, proof of real estate ownership, real estate transaction contract, proof of deposit balance, etc.
- Single-entry visa (F-1-21) for a period of stay of one year or less for a person who is a domestic assistant at a foreign mission in Korea and has the same nationality as the mission.

- (Invitee) Copy of identification card, invitation letter, identity guarantee (guarantee period: 3 years from the date of entry), pledge to prevent illegal immigration and employment
- (Proof of domestic family relationship) Basic certificate, family relationship certificate, marriage certificate, resident registration card (certified copy), family relationship certificate of children's names (pregnancy certificate or maternity certificate if pregnant)
- If you have more than one child, submit family relationship certificates for all children, and if the child is an adopted child, submit an additional adoption certificate for the sponsor.
- (Proof of family relationship in the home country) A family relationship certificate (an official document issued by the government of the country) that identifies all immediate family members and siblings of the marriage immigrant.
- (If the sponsor is a family member in the home country other than the parents) A document confirming that both parents of the marriage immigrant are inadmissible for reasons such as death, illness, or advanced age (60 years or older), and additional family relationship documents confirming the sponsor's immediate family.
- Proof of school enrollment (if the child is of school age)
- Parents of Highly Qualified Talent, Investors, and International Students (F-1-15)
- Application for Authorization to Issue Visa, passport, and one standard-sized photograph
- Letter of invitation (stating that you will not seek employment)

- Domestic assistant for high net worth investor (F-1-22) and outstanding foreign talent (F-1-24)
- Visa issuance authorization application, passport, and one standardized photograph
- A copy of the foreign investment notification form (full certificate of incorporation or business license) or investment company registration certificate.
- However, for those who fall under the category of corporate investment (D-8), the following documents are required
- Venture company confirmation letter or preliminary venture company confirmation letter
- Documents proving that you have industrial property rights, other equivalent technologies and rights to use them, etc.
- Copy of employment contract
- Employment certificate (identification card) from employer
- Identity guarantee
- Documents proving the domestic worker's educational background, such as a graduation certificate, etc.
- Proof of the employer's annual income level
- Income tax receipts, source of income, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.
- Additional documents for those investing less than US$500,000
- Documents to prove that you are an employed Korean full-time worker: Income tax withholding receipt, proof of income amount, pay stub, passbook copy, etc.
