Visa Description

  • Anyone recognized by the Attorney General as not eligible for a diplomatic (A-1), marriage (F-6), tourist (H-1), or visitor (H-2) status.
  • Maximum period of stay that can be granted once: 1 year

  • Proof of place of residence (lease agreement, confirmation of accommodation, mailed notice of expiration of period of stay, utility bill, dormitory fee receipt, housing verification from church, refugee assistance center, human rights organization, UNHCR, etc.)
  • Domestic-born minor children of humanitarian status holders (G-1-12)
  • Application, passport, one standard-sized photograph, and fee
  • Proof of relationship to parents, such as birth certificate, and proof of age of minor children.
  • Proof of place of residence (lease agreement, confirmation of accommodation, mailed notice of anticipated expiration of stay, utility bill, dormitory fee receipt, housing verification from church, refugee assistance center, human rights organization UNHCR, etc.)
  • Domestic-born minor children (G-1-99) of asylum seekers (G-1-5)
