  2. Korean Government Scholarship Program (Main GKS Program)

      • Living expenses (KRW 800,000-900,000 per month), medical insurance (KRW 20,000 per month)

  3. Support for Excellent Exchange Students
    • Eligibility: Exchange students recommended by universities participating in the GKS Excellent Exchange Student Program

      • Round-trip airfare (actual cost), one-time settlement allowance (KRW 200,000)
      • Living expenses (KRW 500,000 per month) and medical insurance (KRW 20,000 per month)
         
  4. Support for Excellent Self-Funded International Students
    • Eligibility: 250 self-funded international students currently enrolled in Korean universities
    • Support Details: KRW 500,000 per month (for up to 10 months)
       
  5. Short-Term Training for Students from Major Countries
    • Eligibility: 60 university students from the top 50 countries in Korea’s foreign student population and 60 outstanding high school students from schools offering Korean language courses
    • Support Details:
      • Round-trip airfare, participation costs (cultural tours, university visits, special lectures)
      • Travel insurance and living expenses
         
  6. Short-Term Training for ASEAN Science and Engineering Students
    • Eligibility: 120 outstanding science and engineering students from ASEAN countries
    • Support Details:
      • Airfare (actual cost), travel insurance, room and board
      • Specialized lectures and visits to research institutions
         
  7. Short-Term Training for African and Latin American Students
    • Eligibility: 80 undergraduate students (40 from Africa, 40 from Latin America)

      • Round-trip airfare (actual cost), program operation costs
      • Specialized lectures and cultural experiences
