Are You Struggling to Prepare Your Interview Outfit in Korea?

Recently, interview suit rental services have been gaining attention in Korea. These services are designed to help job seekers who are considering purchasing an interview suit by making it easier for them to prepare their interview attire.

For foreign job seekers preparing for interviews in Korea, these services can alleviate concerns about interview outfit preparation. By offering clean and neat interview suits for rent, these services enable foreign job seekers to easily prepare their interview attire.

In this post, I’ll introduce you to Korea’s interview suit rental services, which make it easier for foreign job seekers to prepare their interview outfits.

Free Interview Suit Rental Services in Korea

In Korea, many cities and provinces offer free interview suit rental services. In this post, I’ll introduce three such services in Seoul, Namyangju, and Yangju.

    image.png

    1. Job Wings Service (Seoul)

    Website: Job Wings Service

Seoul’s Job Wings Service is available for high school graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) up to youth aged 39 who are residents of Seoul. The service provides suits, ties, belts, and shoes necessary for interviews.

To use the service, you need to reserve a visit to a rental agency through the Seoul Job Portal. On the reserved date, visit the designated agency to pick up the suit, attend the interview, and return the suit within the rental period.

When using the Job Wings Service, you must prepare the required documents. For Seoul residents, you’ll need to submit proof of residence, such as a resident registration card, driver’s license, or a copy of your resident registration. For non-residents living in Seoul, you’ll need to provide proof of actual residence and an interview confirmation document from the company (including the company name, interview date, and contact information). Be sure to check the required documents before using the service.

    2. Youth Dream Wardrobe (Namyangju)

    Website: Integrated Job Support System

Namyangju’s free interview suit rental service, called Youth Dream Wardrobe, is available for residents aged 18 to 39 (including high school graduates) and students (or soon-to-be graduates) of high schools or universities located in Namyangju. The service provides jackets, shirts, blouses, belts, pants, ties, and shoes.

One thing to note is that the service cannot be used for school interviews, mock interviews, or personal purposes. Applications can be made online through the Integrated Job Support System.

    3. Youth Wardrobe (Yangju)

    Website: Yangju Youth Center

Yangju’s Youth Wardrobe service is available for residents aged 18 to 39 who are preparing for job interviews. Unlike other services, it also allows applicants from nearby cities and counties where interview suit rental services are not available. Applications can be made online through the Yangju Youth Center website.

The service offers one set of interview suits for rent, and individual items can also be rented separately.
