    — Hello, nice to meet you. Could you briefly introduce your company?

    Hello, I’m Seunghwa Song from the HR team at Huons Global.

    Guided by our mission to “provide medical solutions for human health,” Huons Global continues research across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and food sectors. We strive to earn our customers’ trust and deliver meaningful experiences through the highest quality services.

    — With over 2,000 employees in the group, what prompted you to consider hiring foreign talent?

    Huons Group has been making company-wide efforts to expand into global markets.

    To strengthen internal talent competitiveness, we decided to hire outstanding global professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds. The goal is to revitalize corporate culture and foster innovation within the organization, ultimately becoming a truly global company.

    Since starting with QC (Quality Control) positions in April this year, we’ve been gradually expanding foreign recruitment and fully supporting visa acquisition.

     

     

    — What is the most important factor when hiring foreign talent?

    We prioritize job competency for each position. As mentioned earlier, strengthening internal talent is also a key focus, so we concentrate on hiring “outstanding” foreign professionals. For Korean language skills, candidates with TOPIK Level 4 or higher are considered for recruitment.

     

     

    — What has been the most challenging part of hiring foreign talent?

    Since attracting as many outstanding global candidates as possible is crucial, recruitment promotion has been our biggest challenge. We’ll continue to open great positions, so we’d really appreciate your interest in Huons Group (laughs).

    — What has been the most positive change since hiring foreign talent?

    Since the addition of foreign professionals, a positive atmosphere has formed, signaling that the company is truly becoming a global organization.

    Existing domestic employees have also been motivated, with many starting language studies to enhance their own competitiveness.

    The influx of foreign talent is expected to create strong synergy across all teams. Additionally, it has greatly supported staffing needs in Jecheon, where our production facilities are concentrated.

     

     

    — What is the aspect you pay the most attention to when hiring foreign talent?

    We focus heavily on employment visa issuance and support, as this is one of the most important factors for foreign job seekers.

    Additionally, we are preparing a comprehensive overhaul of our onboarding system, including long-term support such as housing (dormitories) for foreign employees.
